The method is a vinyasa-based vigorously physical, and intellectually stimulating practice combined with an equally strong foundation in the ancient spiritual traditions of yoga. 

This core philosophy is expressed through five tenets, which form the foundation of Jivamukti Yoga:

Open class

A balanced practice of classical yoga teachings relevant to one's life like chanting, philosophy, pranayama, asana, meditation, and relaxation that serve for the purification of body, mind, and heart.

Open (M) and Open (XL)

Open (M) has all the important elements of an open class but taught in a more slow, detailed and conscious way.

Open (XL) is an invitation to deepen the experience of practice with a longer class with extra time to explore further all the aspects of yoga.

Spiritual Warrior

A breath-led, strong and steady, set and well-rounded sequence for those practitioners who have only an hour to practice. This class is the foundation of the 75h Teacher Training Course.

Restorative

A physical time and space to slow down, pause, rest mindfully, and reset for the upcoming week— an hurried, uncomplicated practice for all practitioners. 

Introduction to Yoga course

A course that explores yoga in depth: understanding the roots of the practice through correct alignment facilitates the space and strength for growth. It is based on four classes that focuses on finding the sacred in the simple.

Inversions course

A safe exploration of the asanas that most likely challenge our sense of equilibrium and ease in practice while going upside down. This course is about preparing ourselves to cultivate a calm and courageous approach to being in the midst of challenges that can provide us with the tools to transform the perception of difficulties in practice and in life.

Meditation

We do not meditate to always feel good, to always feel comfortable. We meditate to have a direct experience of life as it is - and within the highs and lows - cultivate equanimity. 

An exploration of breathwork will support the sitting meditation practice.

The true practice is to simply show up.
